J.D. For Me

Yesterday was the end of an era in my life. I graduated from law school (finally!). Technically, I am now considered a Doctor of Jurisprudence. However, for whatever reason lawyers don't go by Doctor Scalia (and no, they didn't teach us why in law school, along with many other practical lessons). Instead, we are forced to endure another 3 months of torture (all during the wonderful season of summer) in order to earn our right to be an "esquire."

But you can still call me J.D. for now...and that feels pretty damn good.
