i apologize for my great absence...i have been battling ANOTHER bout of sickness...seriously i've had enough illness for the year of 2009...

i wouldn't really describe myself as a fashion guru. i enjoy looking at pretty clothes, but my budget doesn't allow me to do much more than target. but i do have two women whose styles i have always looked up to: ms. jennifer aniston and ms. jackie o. to be fair, if i tell you you remind me of either of them, you should take it as a huge, huge compliment.

as i was reading one of my favorite new blogs, jezebel, i stumbled across the above picture of jennifer aniston. and i loved it. because i find it to be a very jackie o dress on ms. aniston. i love it. and i want it :)

after much shopping, i finally found my new years eve dress.
and for a bargain as well! $40 for a $150 dress...

neckin'

i am a huge fan of anthropologie. if i could afford it, i would stock my wardrobe with their clothes. the two times i visited miami and went shopping on south beach, i spent the majority of my time playing dress up.

so today i went shopping through their dresses because i haven't indulged in anthropologie lately and i fell in love with this dress because it mixes another favorite of mine...fun necklines!

basically, i will be scouting the clearance until the gods that be decide to drop the price tag for me...i have faith.

pretty dresses

bar studying has developed some serious ADD for me. while going over multiple choice questions, i started thinking about this dress i sued to love that cameron diaz wore once (please see the picture on the right). so of course i possibly couldn't focus until i found a picture of it on the internet. this caused a massive search, which turned up a new dress i love (see the picture on the left). that cameron...always good at picking out pretty dresses.

sidenote: as i was writing this i confused left and right. apparently this studying is causing me to replace simple things i know, like left and right, up and down, with bar knowledge. i am so thankful that breathing is an involuntary activity.

prettiness distracts me

momma wants this dress, for many things, but in particular for keegie's rehearsal dinner.
methinks after the bar, i may go try it on :)
